Best Student Homestay & Guardianship services in Singapore !
For best care & attention to our students, we limit our homestay capacity to 3 students only. Also for best interest & privacy of each student, we only offer single room in my homestay here ! We serve organic healthy foods as far as possible !

About our Student Homestay and Guardianship
Our homestay is located in the East of Singapore (15 min. walk to Tanah Merah MRT station and 8 min. walk to Bedok South MRT Station which is scheduled to complete by end 2025 or 2026). We are living in a 3-storey terrace house (landed housing with a front garden). It is located in an exclusive private housing estate, it is very quiet and cozy, students enjoy a comfortable and private environment in my homestay.
All my wards/students are currently studying in international schools. They are taking school bus (with 2-way transport) to school daily. The school bus will be in front of my house gate to pick up/drop off students daily.
We provide homestay and guardianship services to our students :
• Fully-furnished Single room with air-conditioning ---- Most homestays offer shared room for students (to gain higher profit in each room) -——- This is undesirable, lack of privacy for students.
• To provide best attention and care to each of my students, we limit to 3 students (as maximum capacity), we only host 3 students in our homestay (all in single-room) ----- Most homestays host many students in multiple shared-room under one roof to gain maximum profit in each room (it can be in rented properties in some cases). They operate like commercial dormitory in a House. ——-- This is undesirable for students. Also Covid-19 infection may spread easily in a big household due to many students within a homestay.
• Guest Room 3 has private attached bathroom inside ----- Most homestays arrange for a few students to share a toilet in the house. -—-- They operate like a commercial hostel / dormitory.
**** Organic Healthy Meals are provided (as far as possible), we use top quality extra virgin olive oil to cook, to ensure healthy home-cooked foods are served to students daily.
**** We provide daily room cleaning, wireless internet access, guardianship, regular feedback to parents.

**** We have 3 guest rooms (all are Single-room) are reserved for students homestay :
I have one vacancy left in Guest Room 2 for my homestay currently. Guest Room 1 will be available in mid-Jun when my current student goes to USA for further study.
Guest Room 1 (Single-room) : Is occupied by 15-year old boy. He is studying at Stamford American International School. He is going to USA to further his study in Jun 2025. As such, Guest Room 1 will be available by mid-Jun 2025. — Homestay Fee for Guest Room 1 is SGD $2700 per month.
*** Guest Room 2 (A large size Single-room with super-single bed plus a top quality 28cm thick spring mattress) : Is available now, my student from Nexus International School, has moved to overseas recently — Homestay Fee for Guest Room 2 is SGD $2800 per month.
Guest Room 3 (Single-room with private attached bathroom inside) : Has taken up by a 14-year-old boy from Shanghai. He is studying in Australia International School— Homestay Fee for Guest Room 3 is $3000 per month.
Each Guest Room is equipped with the followings :
Air-conditioner
Study table
Ergonomic design study chair (designed & imported from USA) ——— most homestay provide plastic/PVC chair
Full-height built-in wardrobe with 4-panel compartments ——— most homestay provide a small single - cabinet
Single-bed with extra firm & thick (28cm thick) imported top quality spring mattress from USA. It provides good back support while sleeping ——— most homestay provide very thin foam mattress instead of thick 28cm high spring mattress.
A well organized book-cupboard with sliding doors & shelves internally. ——— most homestay don’t provide Private book shelves/book cupboard for students within their room. They usually provide shared-cupboard for books at common area.
For Guest Room 3 : with private attached bathroom (inside bedroom) ——— most homestay provide common-toilet for a few students to share among themselves.
For Guest Room 1 & 2 : are sharing a spacious bathroom exclusively ———In this case, only 2 students to share a toilet exclusively.

*** We are Singaporean Catholic Family (Race is Chinese), we speak English at home :
I'm Mrs Teo, a Singapore Government Officer and I am also the guardian for the students.
My hubby is a senior regional manager working in an American MNC. He will retire soon, as such, he will have more time to oversee the students boarding with us. I have 2 adult children, a son who is graduated from Singapore Management University and works in a local university here. And a daughter, graduated from University of Melbourne, she is doing business.
****** My family (my hubby & 2 adult children) and me are living in this house with my wards (students). In some homestays, guardians may not live together with their wards (students). Guardians may live in another apartment/house either next door, near by or a distance away !
In view that we are working from home for 50% of our working-hour since Covid-19 pandemic has started, as such, students can reach out to us most of the time during weekdays & we are always at home during weekends if they need any assistance!
I have a full-time stay-in domestic helper who takes care of the meals & cleaning for my family and students. Our family speaks English at home. However, I am fluent in Mandarin as well.
